Sacred Valley Vip Tour- Sacred Valley Peru

We will begin our full-day tour with an early morning pickup from our hotel in Cusco. Our comfortable vehicle will take us through breathtaking Andean landscapes. Towering mountains, fertile valleys, and traditional villages will surround us as we travel through Sacred Valley Peru.

Our first stop will be Chinchero, a town at 3,762 meters above sea level. We’ll visit a local textile workshop where artisans will demonstrate traditional weaving techniques. The brilliant colors of the naturally dyed wool will captivate us. 

We will admire the colonial church, built on an ancient Inca palace. Its beautiful murals and stone foundations will transport us to another era.

Next, we will drive to Moray, an impressive archaeological site with massive circular terraces. These terraces will reveal the agricultural experiments of the Incas. Each level has a unique microclimate, allowing different crops to thrive.

 We will walk along the paths and appreciate the engineering skills of this ancient civilization. The site’s panoramic views will leave us in awe.

From Moray, we will continue to the Maras salt mines, a spectacular site with thousands of salt pools. These pools, carved into the mountainside, have been used for salt production since pre-Inca times. We will watch local families harvesting the mineral-rich salt by hand. The contrast between the white terraces and the surrounding mountains will create a stunning visual experience.

After Maras, we will travel to Urubamba, the heart of Sacred Valley Peru. We will enjoy a delicious lunch at a traditional restaurant, tasting local flavors and fresh ingredients. This break will give us time to relax before we continue our adventure.

Our journey will take us to Ollantaytambo, a historic Inca town at 2,792 meters above sea level. We will explore its massive stone terraces, once a strategic military, religious, and agricultural center. The Temple of the Sun, built with giant carved stones, will amaze us with its precision. We will walk through the well-preserved Inca streets, feeling the presence of the past.

Our final destination will be Pisac, a town known for its impressive ruins and vibrant market. We will climb to the ancient citadel, admiring its terraces and ceremonial structures. The panoramic view of the valley will be unforgettable.

 In the market, we will browse handmade textiles, ceramics, and silver jewelry. We will return to Cusco in the evening, ending our incredible Sacred Valley VIP Tour.
