We will reach the highest point of the trek at 4,200 meters. From here, we will take a short rest and admire the stunning scenery of the Andean mountains.

We will wake up early to a stunning sunrise over Huchuy Qosqo. After breakfast, we will begin our guided tour of this incredible archaeological site. After our tour, we will begin our descent toward the town of Lamay at 2,940 meters. The trail will take us through lush farmlands and traditional villages. As we descend, the climate will change, becoming warmer and more humid. We will reach Lamay after approximately two and a half hours of hiking.
In Lamay, our transportation will be waiting for us. We will enjoy a scenic 30 minute drive back to Cusco, arriving in the early afternoon. This adventure will provide an incredible experience, combining history, nature, and breathtaking landscapes.
